The World of Warcraft is going through its "seven year itch". Blizzard has done everything it can, like starting the "Scroll of Resurrection" policy,which I don't think would make much of difference, or rewarding players with gear pieces. However the main reason is that the senior players are tired of the game play that Blizzard had offered them.

Personally, I believe introducing some less time-consuming or easy-to-play game modes into WOW would attract more players. senior or new, into the game. After all, one of the main things of a MMORPG is to social with friends.

I have transformed my ideas into an actually video, "Weichuan Jiang's WOW", which demonstrated a brand new way of playing the game. It is like a combination of Survival mode in Call of Duty with Arena system in WOW. However, due to personal reasons, I was not able to demonstrate many of the ideas I had in design stage, such as different characteristics of different classes and so on, which was such a pity. I hope this videos could bring some inspirations of how to play the game.
