Before anyone says it, yes I know others have soloed this on different classes, I just wanted to see what a mage could do.

I was originally in TK to try and solo Kael'thas. (which failed horribly) 5 hours later I decided to go try Al'ar!


The Fight:

Phase 1: Not overly difficult. Had to learn to balance out the physical damage and the fire debuff though, also found out its easier to save the deep freeze for the adds that spawn every time he moves.

Phase 2: This was the one that gave me the most trouble. Killing the adds takes priority here, Deep Freezing one and Ice Lance spamming the other while consistently running away from Al'ar, all the while making sure to keep my water ele out of fire. Though if I had made a macro or key binding it would of saved me a great deal of effort. (I have a one tracked mind) And besides that...nothing really else to mention, oh yes... I HATE YOU LEGENDARY WEAPONS YOU HURT MY FRAIL MAGE BODY! >:(
