Movie Summary
Affinity (Blackrock - US) does Heroic: Orbit-uary.
ABOUT THE VIDEO:
It was not meant to showcase any skill in editing, or even be a guide to killing 4 tower FL. The kill is a bit sloppy with about half the raid dead, but it was our guild's first kill and I found that appropriate to practice frapsing and working with sony vegas, both which I have recently purchased.
ABOUT MY UI:
It looks like crap for flame levi, i'm aware. It wasn't designed around the whole vehicle aspect of the game. As you can see it looks more organised after he dies... Perhaps still a bit cluttered-looking simply because of icehud, but its how I play.
ABOUT THE FIGHT:
Definately not a showcase of extreme skill on my part... Seige engine driving isn't very fun anyway. I did make a lot of interrupts this attempt, and didn't die, but I did take a lot of avoidable damage. I got caught behind the Mimiron's Inferno, which could have been avoided but took 1 tick there. I took 2 more ticks because I turned too close to it avoiding frost and flame leviathan. Late in the fight, at the last overload I got frozen, which could have been avoided but I was clearly out of range anyway and didn't think it would hit (screw you latency!!).
MUSIC:
The Arms of Sorrow - Killswitch Engage
Selkies: The Endless Obsession - Between the Buried and Me
I chose The Arms of Sorrow, because I thought it was a light enough song that most people could appreciate it, while still being an appropriate length for the video. I cut the solo out of Selkies because I thought the feel it gave could really work well with the video because it set the feel for the kill (epic), also because the first half of the song would probably get downratings from people who don't appreciate death metal. Yeah I took you guys into consideration.
Overall i'm happy with the video and the editing, it was quick, and I got a lot of practice out of it. Please feel free to make constructive comments on the editing and how I can improve. Please also tell me if the music was acceptable, because I see a lot of vids get comments like "CRAP MUSIC". Also please, again don't downrate or focus on my UI the whole time as it wasn't designed for vehicle combat.
